Brad Campbell

Maintenance Director

Brad grew up in Austin, raising animals, fishing, and exploring the wilderness. He moved to Wimberley during his sophomore year in high school, meeting his future wife and beginning his journey at CYJ in 2000 at the age of 15. Brad started in the kitchen and housekeeping departments until moving to maintenance in for the first major renovation of camp. Since 2004, Brad has been involved in the installation of the new pool, expanding the Beit Ha’am, constructing the Shalom and Health Centers, and the addition of cabins 9-11. Brad took over the Maintenance Director position in 2015, during the construction of the ELC, and has seen the completion of the Retreat Village in that time. All of this comes along with many other projects and memories that can be seen throughout CYJ.

In 2007 he married his high school sweetheart and purchased a house next to camp, which they currently share with their 4-year-old son and dog. They enjoy camping, hiking, games, and being together as a family.

“My time spent at CYJ is precious. There is a beauty and peace in this gem of the Texas hill country that I am privileged to be a part of.”
