Aquatic Center & Pool
House
CYJ's Aquatic Center will become the centerpiece of camp's updated facility. The swimming pool is 5900 square feet and ranges in depth from 2'.0" to 4'-11'. For those that like random facts, the water volume is about 150,000 gallons. The pool is considered a free-form design. The "Lap Area" is 25 yards and has 4 racing lanes. This area will be utilized for water polo, volleyball, races, and swim lessons. A built in shelf on one side will help facilitate teaching.
The non-traditional design of the pool also features a 2'0" beach-like entry, a water mushroom play toy, and a giant double water slide. This 15' slide was designed by Schlitterbahn Waterpark in New Braunfels, Texas.
The Aquatics Center also features a new pool house. This 900 square foot facility offers bathrooms, showers, and areas for changing. Additionally, an air-conditioned lifeguard station is incorporated. Remarkably, the design of the Aquatics Center allowed it to be built without removing one tree.

Athletic Fields
Two new soccer fields and a softball field will be placed on the north side
of the renovated Beit Ha'am complex to provide a centralized location for
sports and other athletic activities. Conveniently located near the new restroom
wing and adjacent to the new trellis-covered patio, which are ideal for cool
breaks after "fun in the sun!" A frisbee golf course will also be
incorporated into the Texas Hill Country landscape, providing another fun experience
for many campers with this popular new sport.
