Make new friends
Whether there’s someone new at work or school, or you’re the new person in the group, reaching out and making friends is good for your mind and good for your spirit! Not only that but having a friendly attitude can brighten the days of all the people around you and lead to a friendlier world for all.
Learn a new hobby
Is there a skill or hobby you’ve been dying to learn? There’s no time like the present! Watch a youtube tutorial or read a book to get started. Find a community of hobbyists to support you. Whatever you like, we guarantee that there are other people out there who share your passion and want to cheer you on!
Be a leader
You don’t have to be elected to be a leader. You can set a good example wherever you are, with whoever is in your community. Whether it be your friends at school or your coworkers, you can resolve to take charge when needed and always lead by example, just like we teach our campers at CYJ!
