10th-11th Grade Program

Get ready for our newest aidah, our brand new program for summer 2017: BONIM!

This 10th and 11th grade program will be unlike any aidah that came before it. With these campers having already graduated our demanding Segel program, they’ll now be trusted with more freedom and responsibility than ever before. They’ll co-lead activities, have more input in their daily schedule, and live in our exclusive Teen Village, a living space just for them!

The experience has been designed with three key components, (our three “pillars” of Bonim):

Hadracha (Leadership) & Yazamut (Entrepreneurship)

The group’s Leadership Training Program will help these young people reflect upon and improve their skills in a collaborative setting. They will be given opportunities to lead younger campers in programs such as Chofesh games, running the canteen, assisting Maccabiah captains, and hosting the Bogrim and Segel campers for weekly dinners. Additionally, they will learn about entrepreneurship and Israel as a “start-up nation”.

Tikkun Olam (Social Action)

Bonim will be focusing on what we call “MADIMOW”—Making a Difference in My Own Way! Campers will walk away with a tangible sense of their ability to change the world, (with an opportunity to earn up to 20 community service hours while they do it!). They will participate in social action hands-on projects out of camp as well as reflect on the meaning of their volunteerism.

Yisrael Hayom (Israel Today)

Teens will participate in weekly Israel Updates to keep up to date on the current events in our homeland.  They will discuss the important, pressing issues faced by Israeli citizens and learn the complexity of Israel as a nation.
