Gifts of Stock/Grants from DAFs/IRA Distributions

Gifts of appreciated stock can be a great way to support CYJ while possibly lessoning your tax burden.

CYJ recommends you consult your financial advisor and/or tax professional to discuss your individual tax considerations.

To recommend a grant from your Donor Advised Fund (DAF), simply contact your DAF administrator and request a grant to: Camp Young Judaea, 5410 Bellaire Blvd, Suite 207, Bellaire, TX 77401

If you are age 70½ or older and have a traditional IRA, you can make a gift to CYJ directly from your IRA as a Qualified Charitable Distribution. A QCD is typically excluded from your taxable income, which can be more beneficial than taking a taxable distribution and then making a cash gift. Instruct your IRA custodian to send a distribution directly to Camp Young Judaea, Inc.

Matching Gifts

Did you know that many companies have gift-matching programs that will match your donation to CYJ – making your gift go further and be more impactful? Some companies match dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of the gift.
