For aid in getting your child to camp, check out our Tuition Assistance options. For a summary of the optional services mentioned in the camper application, see “Optional Opportunities” below.

Optional Opportunities

There will be a page in the Camper Application form to pay for a number of optional opportunities. The applicant will be able to: order bonus camp gear for their child; sponsor tuition scholarships for other campers; make a general donation for the continued operation of CYJ-Texas. These options are not included in general tuition.

Regarding staff gratuities—we are happy to say that we pay our counselors and staff a competitive wage, and it is our staff’s policy to not to accept gratuities. If you wish to show appreciation for our (amazing!) staff, there will be an option in the application process to donate to their recreation programs.

Transportation to and from camp via Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio is available for a nominal fee of $40 each way.

Transportation can be arranged for chaperoned rides to and from the Austin and San Antonio airports for a fee of $75.
